IN OUR TEAM - The main research areas of AguilaLab Team are the biocatalysis and enzyme immobilization on nanostructured supports, green chemistry, and molecular simulations of biological systems.
- In the area of biocatalysis and immobilization of enzymes in nanostructured supports, the catalytic activity of enzymes of the oxidoreductase class is investigated to develop nanobiosensors applied to the environment, agriculture, energy and nanomedicine.
- In the area of green chemistry, we are developing metal nanoparticles through the use of natural and biodegradable products.
- Finally, in the area of molecular simulations of biological systems, we are developing a process for the search of drugs and the development of nanovehicles with applications in nanomedicine.

DataCamp for the Classroom: “Simulación de Sistemas Biológicos” This year DataCamp is generously supporting the #AguilaLab team and students from “Simulación de Sistemas Biológicos” class (CNyN – UNAM). We have access to many excellent statistics, data science, and machine learning courses. Students will use DataCamp’s content to learn and practice Bash and Python scripting, data […]
